Gutenberg editor is a powerful tool, however some people might need some time to get used to it. In order to make the transition smooth I’ve created a “content only” template that loads less than 20kb of assets (css and js combined gziped), basically only the base styles (grid and typography + few helpers). If you rely on Divi (affiliate link), Elementor or some other page builders, when creating your page you just need to select “Content Only” template from your post/page sidebar like in the image bellow:
